As you can see, the Stony Brook Hospital project is moving right along! I just received these images (taken by the project designer Angela Shirley) of Horizon XI being unpacked and carried. I think it looks beautiful in its new acrylic domicile, clean and minimal, where it will be nicely protected. These are the first glimpses I’ve seen (so excited!) but as I get more pictures, I will share them.
I understand that the installation should be completed sometime in July and I hope to take a trip to Long Island for the final install. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures of the work ‘in situ’, as they say.
I feel so honored to have my artwork included in this project.
